VAT rates from January 1st 2010
After a year of reduced VAT rates, the Government will be increasing
VAT from 15% to 17.5% from 1st January 2010. Here at HoneyPotGifts,
we will cover this increase within our existing prices, so you
won't see any increase in prices due to the VAT rise. Having
absorbed the last couple of postage rate changes and now being
faced with significant increases in material prices, particularly
metals, we have had to increase some of our prices due to some
of our suppliers increasing their prices beyond a level which
we can absorb. We're sorry to have to apply any price increases
but we have kept it to a minimum and we have held all of our
prices during the busy Christmas period. Less than 5% of our
prices have had to increase and we have managed to reduce a
few items along the way. You'll still find the majority of our
items at their old prices and we still think everything we offer
is great value for money.

1st March 2010
After visiting the trade show in February, our first two new
products are now on the website. Click
here and have a look at our Galleria automatic mini umbrellas,
they incorporate style and functionality in a beautiful way,
if you've got to be out in the rain then this is the umbrella
to be seen with. We've had tremendous success with the handbag
organisers which we introduced in 2009; for 2010 we'll be adding
new colours to the two range we already stock. To give you a

We've added the rest of our new collection of Daines
and Hathaway leather goods, including several superb jewellery
boxes. This beautiful range is already attracting lots of interest,
it really is great stuff. We've also finally been able to finish
the photography of 6
new Russian nesting dollsby acclaimed doll artist, Tanya Andreeva.
We've also got a great new range of beautiful and usual jewellery
rolls and jewel boxes in glorious colourful suede effect finishes,

Several great new ranges of products are now available. Firstly,
we've received our new Stratton powder compacts, fabulous new
designs in their 'Fashion' range with beautiful soft-feel tops
and with leather pouches available to add to the style. see

new range of fine English leather goods from traditional leather
goods manufacturer, Daines and Hathaway of Walsall. You
can see these by clicking this link, we've only a few products
on the site at present but we'll be adding more in the next
couple of days. Thirdly, we've added two styles of handbag organiser,
in a range of colours, to make it easier to keep you bag tidy
and to swap from one bag to another, see them on our new Bag

Having spent last weekend reorganising the warehouse, we're
back to adding new gifts to the website and checking loads of
great new stuff as it arrives in from the suppliers, in preparation
for photography and then loading even more great gifts for you.
We've just added 3 new Terramundi pots, which you can see with
the rest of our pots by going to
this link. We've also added 4 new Dulwich Vicci powder compacts,

this page. Our selection of Hidden Treasures collectible
trinket boxes continues to be popular so we've also added 3

Busy week this week - we've added 5 beautiful new dual mirrors
with Swarovski Crystal decorations. 3 are large dual mirrors
with massive 7x magnification on one mirror, the other two are
smaller with really beautiful coloured crystal pictures on the
outside and smaller magnifying mirrors. See

also a brand new section for Lipstick holders, with a really
useable selection of fashionable styles and colours of these
great accessories for purse, pocket and handbag. See

Given the continuing popularity of Oil Fragrance Lamps around
the home, we've introduced some more new one styles which you
can see on the 'Oil Fragrance
Lamps' page. We've also extended our popular range of Staffordshire
Bone China Trinket boxes by adding some miniature clocks in
the most popular designs, they're on our 'Trinket
Boxes Museum Collection' page.

with it's modern styling and unique rapid pump-fill system,

We've tidied up our menu options at the left of the website,
it was getting a bit messy and hopefully you'll now find navigating
our site a little easier; please let us know if you have any
comments.
Having fallen in love with the range of Thuya Wood jewellery
boxes which we introduced a couple of years ago, we've extended
our selection by introducing some desk accessories to help you
keep your desktop both tidy and attractive. See them on our

Us blokes are a bit difficult to shop for sometimes, hopefully
this will make things a little easier. We've also added 5 new
Thuya Wood jewellery boxes which you can see on the Wooden

Following on from our successful range of evening
bags, we've introduced a new range of daytime hand bags
which you can see by clicking
here. In a hand picked selection of traditional and modern
styles, they're all gorgeous and functional. We've also been
adding a few new items around the site, please have a browse
and chose whatever you fancy.
Coming soon: Hand bag organisers and handbag butlers. We're
just processing a new range of products to enable you to organise
your hand bags and transfer the contents quickly and easily
from one bag to another. Additionally, the Handbag Butler, which
comes in a range of modern funky colours allows you keep your
hand bag or evening bag safe when you're out for a meal or a
drink, it just hangs on the table or other surface and stops
it getting lost underneath a table. Keep an eye on the sight
and we'll have these fabulous new items available soon.
